Don't Hit My Car!
There ought to be a law against people using weedwackers (line trimmers) to cut grass along the roadside. Every time I pass by one of these accidents-waiting-to-happen I cringe. Weedwackers turn stones and other harmless debris into airborne missiles. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I actually turn up my windows when I'm passing someone cutting grass with a weedwacker. Of course that would do nothing to protect my car from the dings and dents that result from the flying projectiles. I think lawnmowers are a lot safer although I'll admit there are some places you just can't use a lawnmower. I also realize that people nowadays are a tad bit too lazy to cut grass with a machete the way my grandparents taught me. So, I don't know what the alternative is. I'm just saying, there ought to be a law.
